Adjust the Monitor Brightness

Learn how to adjust the monitor brightness on compatible monitors in Windows 7.

  1. Open the Control Panel from the Start menu.
  2. Open Power Options in the Control Panel.

    Note: If Power Options is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.

  3. Select Change plan settings on the power plan you want to edit.

  4. Slide the slider(s) next to Adjust plan brightness and then click Save changes.

      i am also getting same PROBLEM. now i am thinking to reboot my dell laptop.what you think is a software or hardware problem?
      I am 1oo% sure that it is not a DRIVERs problem.
