Auto-hide the Taskbar in Windows 7

Learn how to set the taskbar to auto-hide in Windows 7.

Auto-hide the Taskbar

  1. Right-click an empty space on the taskbar (the bar with the Start Orb and clock) and then click Properties.
  2. Check off Auto-hide the taskbar in the Taskbar appearance section of the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.

  3. Click OK to save the changes.
