Change a User Account Password
- Open the Control Panel from the Start menu.
- Open User Accounts in the Control Panel.
[1]Note: If the User Accounts item is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.
- Click Change your password.
[2]Note: If you want to change another user account’s password, click Manage another account and then select the user account.
[3] - Type the user account’s current password (if they have one), the new password (2 times), and a password hint.
[4] - Click Change password.
