How do I change the HomeGroup password?
- Open the Control Panel in the Start Menu of any computer that belongs to the HomeGroup you want to change the password.
- Open HomeGroup in the Control Panel.
Note: If HomeGroup is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.
- Click Change the password in the Other homegroup actions section.
- Click Change the password.
- Type the new password and then click Next.
- Click Finished when the password has been successfully changed.
How do I change the HomeGroup password on the rest of the computers in the HomeGroup?
- Open HomeGroup in the Control Panel or select the HomeGroup in Windows Explorer and then click Type new password.
- Type the new password and then click Next.
- Click Finish when the password has been successfully changed.
