Learn how to speed up or slow down the mouse pointer speed in Windows 7.

Change the Mouse Pointer Speed

  1. Right-click an empty space on the desktop and then select Personalize.
  2. Click Change mouse pointers in the top left of the Personalization window.

  3. Select the Pointer Options tab.
  4. Adjust the slider in the Motion section of the Mouse Properties window and then click OK to save the changes.
