Choose Which Operating System to Boot From In Windows 7

Learn how to choose the default version of Windows to boot from when dual booting Windows 7 and another version of Windows.

  1. Right-click Computer in the Start Menu and then select Properties.
  2. Select Advanced system settings in the left column of the System window.

  3. Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery section of the Advanced tab in the System Properties window.

  4. Choose the default operating system to boot from in the System startup section of the Startup and Recovery window and then click OK to save the changes.
