Delete Internet Explorer’s InPrivate Filtering Data

Learn how to delete Internet Explorer’s InPrivate Filtering data (saved data used by InPrivate Filtering to detect where websites may be automatically sharing details about your visit) in Windows 7.

Delete IE InPrivate Filtering Data

  1. Open the Control Panel from the Start menu.
  2. Open Internet Options in the Control Panel.

    Note: If Internet Options is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.

  3. Click Delete in the Browsing history section of the Internet Properties window.

  4. Uncheck everything except InPrivate Filtering data and then click Delete in the Delete Browsing History window.
