Delete Internet Explorer’s Passwords

Learn how to delete Internet Explorer’s passwords (saved passwords that are automatically filled in when you sign in to a website you’ve previously visited) in Windows 7.

Delete IE Passwords

  1. Open the Control Panel from the Start menu.
  2. Open Internet Options in the Control Panel.

    Note: If Internet Options is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.

  3. Click Delete in the Browsing history section of the Internet Properties window.

  4. Uncheck everything except Passwords and then click Delete in the Delete Browsing History window.
