Disable Screen Fonts Smooth Edges

Learn how to set Windows 7 to not smooth the edges of fonts.

Below is an icon’s text with smooth edges disabled.

  1. Type adjust perf in the Start Menu’s search box and then press Enter on your keyboard.
  2. Uncheck Smooth edges of screen fonts.
  3. Click OK to save the changes.
