Disable the Clock in Windows 7

Remove the clock from the notification area of Windows 7’s taskbar.

Disable Windows 7’s Clock

  1. Right-click an empty space on the taskbar (the bar with the Start Orb and clock) and then click Properties.
  2. Click the Customize button in the Notification area section of the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.

  3. Click Turn system icons on or off at the bottom left of the Notification Area Icons window.

  4. Set the Clock icon’s behavior to Off and then click OK to save the changes.

    will this disable the computer clock or just remove it from the taskbar
