Learn how to turn off User Account Control (UAC) in Windows 7.
Warning: I DO NOT recommend turning off UAC. User Account Control is there to protect you and it’s not as annoying as everybody says it is. Before you turn off UAC I highly suggest trying it out first.
With that said, here’s how to turn off UAC.
- Type uac in the Start Menu’s search box and then press Enter on your keyboard.
- Slide the slider all the way down and then click OK to save the changes.
