Display the Run Command in the Start Menu

  1. Right-click an empty spot on the taskbar (the bar with the Start Orb and clock) and then choose Properties.
  2. Click the Start Menu tab in the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.

  3. Click the Customize button in the Start Menu tab of the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.

  4. Check off Run command and then click OK.

  5. Click OK in the Taskbar and Start Menu window to save the changes.

    I found this to be useful. Just transitioned from XP to Windows 7 and never had to go looking for the run command.
