Enable Aero Peek in Windows 7

Learn how to enable Aero Peek in Windows 7.

Windows 7’s Aero Peek is very similar to the old show desktop icon from the old days of Windows XP. The difference is that instead of minimizing all of the open windows Aero Peek only shows the outlines of the windows so that you can quickly see the desktop.

Enable Aero Peek

  1. Type adjust perf in the Start Menu’s search box and then press Enter on your keyboard.
  2. Check Enable Aero Peek.
  3. Click OK to save the changes.
