Enable the Windows 7 Firewall

Enable Windows 7’s Firewall
- Open Control Panel in the Start menu.
- Open Windows Firewall in the Control Panel.
[1]Note: If Windows Firewall is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.
- Select Turn Windows Firewall on or off.
[2] - Select Turn on Windows Firewall under Home and or Public network(s) and then click OK.
[3]Note: A private or work network is the network setup at your house or work. A public network is the network setup at a coffee house or other public place.
