How to Hide the Control Panel Icon on the Desktop

  1. Right-click an empty space on your desktop and then select Personalize.
  2. Select Change desktop icons in the left column of the Personalization window.


  3. Uncheck Control Panel in the Desktop icons section of the Desktop Icon Settings window and then click OK.
