Install the Windows Search Engine
- Open the Control Panel from the Start menu.
- Open Programs and Features in the Control Panel.
Note: If Programs and Features is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.
- Select Turn Windows features on or off in the left column of the Programs and Features window.
- Check off Windows Search and then click OK.
- Click Restart Now to restart the computer.

Can you please help me, it seems that my windows search no longer exist , i tried to turn it on by start menu properties , customize , but it was turned on , but not worked . I tried fixing problem by going to Windows features , but search was turned on there to , but still don’t worked . So how make it work ?
i have a problem like this, i tried to turn on the windows search but i cant find it in the options. it was there before, but suddenly, i dont know what happened, but it was gone now. probably because of windows updates. please help.
