Could you please let me know in which versions of Windows 7 faxing capability will be included or could be upgraded to as a standalone feature?
Thank you very much in advance, George.
Windows Fax and Scan will be included in all versions of Windows 7 according to winsupersite.com.
In other words, the Microsoft geniuses have eliminated the landline fax capability and replaced it with a function for which the victim ? I mean the user ? has to pay a monthly fee regardless of how often he or she uses it. I smell ripoff.
What monthly fee?
How can I get a document to scan in pdf format?
I’ve answered my own question. Install cutepdf writer, Free, on your computer. Scan the document and print it using the cute pdf writer and it will automatically convert to PDF format. An extra step but works well.
Hi all,
I worked with Windows Fax in Win XP in a perfect way, but after upgrade to Windows 7, the sender name and the sender phone won’t be displayed in Windows Fax. I can only read TSID info in order to get an idea from where the incoming fax comes from.
What can I do to receive the sender name and phone number ?
Regards,
Gunter.
