Install Windows Fax and Scan

Learn how to install Windows Fax and Scan in Windows 7.

Install Windows Fax and Scan

  1. Open the Control Panel in the Start menu.
  2. Open Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

    Note: If Programs and Features is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.

  3. Click Turn Windows features on or off in the left column of the Programs and Features window.

  4. Expand Print and Document Services and then check off Windows Fax and Scan.

  5. Click OK.

    Could you please let me know in which versions of Windows 7 faxing capability will be included or could be upgraded to as a standalone feature?
