Install Windows Gadget Platform

Warning: This guide shows you how to install the Windows 7 Gadget Platform, not an individual gadget. The Windows Gadget Platform is what all gadgets run on.
Install Windows Gadget Platform
- Open the Control Panel from the Start menu.
- Open Programs and Features in the Control Panel.
[1]Note: If the Programs and Features item is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.
- Click Turn Windows features on or off in the left pane of the Programs and Features window.
[2] - Check off Windows Gadget Platform and then click OK.
