Prevent Specific Files or Folders from Being Shared with a HomeGroup

Let’s say you have a folder of pictures or document that you don’t want other people in your HomeGroup seeing. This guide shows you how to prevent a file or folder from being shared in the HomeGroup.
How do I stop some files from being shared in my HomeGroup?
- Go to the computer on your HomeGroup that has the files you don’t want other computers on the HomeGroup seeing.
- Navigate to and select the folder or file in Windows Explorer.
[1] - Click Share with and then select Nobody.
Now that file or folder is invisible to everyone in the HomeGroup.
