Remove a User Account Password

  1. Open the Control Panel from the Start menu.
  2. Open User Accounts in the Control Panel.

    Note: If the User Accounts item is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.

  3. Click Remove your password.

    Note: If you want to remove another user account’s password, click Manage another account and then select the user account.

  4. Type the current password of the user account and then click Remove Password.
