Set Internet Explorer to Empty Temporary Internet Files On Exit

Empty IE Temporary Files when Closed

1. Open the Control Panel from the Start menu.
2. Open Internet Options in the Control Panel.

   

   Note: If Internet Options is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.

3. Select the Advanced tab in the Internet Properties window.

   

4. Check off Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed and then click OK to save the changes.
