Learn how to set how far the mouse scrolls when you roll the wheel in Windows 7.

Set the Mouse Vertical Scrolling Preferences

  1. Right-click an empty space on the desktop and then select Personalize.
  2. Click Change mouse pointers in the top left of the Personalization window.

  3. Select the Wheel tab.
  4. Set the wheel to scroll by X number of lines or one screen at a time in the Vertical Scrolling section of the Mouse Properties window.

  5. Click OK to save the settings.

    Work on somme application for me, but not in the file listing of Explorer.exe even if the two scroll bars shows posibility to make an horizontal scrolling.
