Set the Number of Recent Programs to Display in Windows 7’s Start Menu

Set the Number of Recently Opened Programs to Display
- Right-click an empty spot on the taskbar (the bar with the Start Orb and clock) and then choose Properties.
- Click the Start Menu tab in the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.
[1] - Click the Customize button in the Start Menu tab of the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.
[2] - Set how many items to show next to Number of recent programs to display in the Start menu size section of the Customize Start Menu window and then click OK.
