Set the Number of Recent Programs to Display in Windows 7’s Start Menu

Set the Number of Recently Opened Programs to Display

  1. Right-click an empty spot on the taskbar (the bar with the Start Orb and clock) and then choose Properties.
  2. Click the Start Menu tab in the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.

  3. Click the Customize button in the Start Menu tab of the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.

  4. Set how many items to show next to Number of recent programs to display in the Start menu size section of the Customize Start Menu window and then click OK.
