Learn how to synchronize Windows 7’s clock with an Internet time server.

Synchronize Clock with Time Server

1. Left-click the clock on the bottom right of the desktop.
2. Click Change date and time settings.
3. Select the Internet Time tab in the Date and Time window.

   

4. Click Change settings.

   

5. Check off Synchronize with an Internet time server so that Windows 7 automatically keeps its clock in sync.

   

   Note: Click Update now to sync the clock with a time server right now.

   I’ve tried this numerous times on this new HP laptop. Last.fm cannot track itunes songs without the clock being synchronized. When I click “Update Now” there is always an error. I am given no information about the error and I have no idea what I can do.
