Troubleshooting a Stop 0x77 or KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR

Learn how to troubleshoot the Stop 0x77 or KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR Stop Error (BSOD) in Windows 7.

What caused the error?

The Stop 0x77 message indicates that a page of kernel data requested from virtual memory could not be found or read into memory.  This error can also indicate a disk hardware failure, disk data corruption, or a possible virus infection.

    Brent i am really in need of your help now…PLS help me.
    I am using WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM 32 bit original version.Recently i got an update message from update center to install the service pack 1 for win7.I also selected and it starts downloading but even after 1 hour it remains in 0% and then suddenly it gets cancelled and produces the following error message

    ERROR CODE DETAILS:80070002.

    PLS SUGGEST ME A REMEDY TO OVERCOME THIS….

    I am in urgent
