    Blurry…….
In Vista and XP it is pretty easy to turn off clear type, but in Windows 7 it is almost impossible. I cannot accept the blurry text, as I am a great fan of the sharp and clear text which was possible in Vista and XP.
I go through the different steps in the Clear Type text tuner, but this only makes it more blurry.

You’ll also need to change the fonts that Windows 7 uses by default. Although websites will look better when you turn ClearType off, The damn font they chose for the rest of Windows (Segoe UI) looks horrible without it. Right click on desktop, click personalise, click on Window Color (down the bottom), click on Advanced Appearance Settings, and change all of the fonts to something you like (XP used Tahoma for the majority and that looks pretty good).
