Turn on Internet Explorer’s Menu Bar by Default
Posted By Brent Trahan On June 2, 2009 @ 10:06 pm In Guides, Personalization | No Comments
This policy setting allows you to turn on or turn off the legacy “File, Edit, View, etc. …” menus in Internet Explorer.
If you enable this policy setting, the menu bar will appear in Internet Explorer by default and the users cannot turn it off.
If you disable this policy setting, the menu bar will not appear in Internet Explorer by default and the users cannot turn it on.
If you do not configure this policy setting, the menu bar will be turned off by default. The users are free to turn on or turn off the menu bar.
Note: This guide shows you how to make changes to Windows 7 using Group Policy. Group Policy is not available in Home versions of Windows 7.
