Uninstall Windows Games

This guide shows you how to uninstall games that come with Windows 7. You can uninstall all of them or choose from Chess Titans, Free Cell, Hearts, Internet Backgammon, Internet Checkers, Internet Spades, Mahjong Titans, Minesweeper, Purple Place, Solitaire, or Spider Solitaire.

Uninstall Windows Games

  1. Open the Control Panel from the Start menu.
  2. Open Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

    Note: If Programs and Features is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.

  3. Select Turn Windows features on or off in the left column of the Programs and Features window.

  4. Uncheck Games to uninstall all games, or expand Games and uncheck the game(s) you want to uninstall, and then click OK.
