Learn how to find out the password of a HomeGroup in Windows 7.

How do I find a HomeGroup’s password?

1. Open the Control Panel from the Start Menu on a computer that’s already connected to the HomeGroup you’re trying to find out the password.
2. Open HomeGroup in the Control Panel.

   

   Note: If HomeGroup is not available, change View by to Large icons at the top right of the Control Panel.

3. Select View or print the homegroup password under Other homegroup actions.

   

4. The HomeGroup password will be in the yellow box.

   

   Note: The password is case sensitive.
