Does my computer need the Fax service?
Your computer doesn’t need the Fax service to run.
Should I disable the Fax service?
First off, I have to say that it’s best to leave service optimization up to Microsoft. With that said; if you don’t send or receive faxes using your PC, disabling the Fax service is OK.
