Download and install updates to Windows 8 apps.
Apps need to be updated just like any other software does.
Update Apps in Windows 8
- Select the Store app.
Notice the number at the bottom right of the Store app. That’s how many apps have updates available.
- Select Update at the top right of the screen.
- Select the app(s) that you want to update and then select Install.
- The new version of the app(s) will be downloaded and updated.
