The Command Prompt (DOS) is still used heavily by IT pros. Windows XP has a time saving powertoy called CmdHere [1] that will open a command prompt that is pointing to a particular directory automatically by right-clicking inside the directory and selecting open command window here.
CmdHere is a built-in feature of Windows Vista and can be used a few ways.
The first is to hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard and right-click in the directory you want the command prompt to point at, then select open command prompt here.
If you want open command prompt here to always appear when you right-click in a directory, download and install this registry entry [2].
