Export an E-mail Account

Note: This guide shows how to export your e-mail account settings which are your settings used to connect to the e-mail server to send and receive mail. This guide does not show you how to export actual e-mail messages.

  1. Open Windows Mail.
  2. Click Tools and then select Accounts.
  3. Select the e-mail account you want to export in the Internet Accounts window and then click the Export button.
  4. Give the exported e-mail account a name and a location to save it and then click Save.
