Give Windows Vista that Classic Look

Introduction

This guide is for those old school people who don’t like change and want Windows Vista to look like classic Windows.

Go from this:

To this:

Classic Theme

  1. Right-click on an empty space on your desktop and then select Personalize.
  2. Click Theme in the Personalization window.
  3. Replace Windows Vista with Windows Classic under Theme in the Theme Settings window.

  4. Click OK to apply the changes.

Classic Start Menu

  1. Right-click the Start button and then select Properties.
  2. Select Classic Start Menu in the Start Menu tab of the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.

  3. Click OK to apply the changes.
