Hide the Clock in Vista’s Taskbar

How-to hide the clock in Windows Vista’s taskbar.

I’m a minimalist type of person. I use the clock gadget in the Vista sidebar and don’t see a need for the clock in the task bar.

Remove the Taskbar Clock

  1. Right-click the taskbar and then select Properties.
  2. Select the Notification Area tab in the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.
  3. Uncheck Clock in the System icons section and then click OK.
