Install SNMP in Windows Vista

How-to Enable Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) support in Windows Vista.

Install SNMP

  1. Click Control Panel in the Start menu.
  2. Click Classic view in the left column of the control panel.
  3. Open Programs and Features.
  4. Click Turn Windows features on or off in the left column of Programs and Features.
  5. Select SNMP feature in the Windows Features box.

  6. Click OK to install SNMP.
  7. SNMP will install.

Uninstall SNMP

Simply follow the steps above and unselect SNMP feature.
