I’ve been reading for some time now that many people are copying things they should not and using the copyrighted material to their benefit. I found a great site DynamicDrive that has a few great scripts to help stop many of the copying of copyrighted material on your site.

There are not a sure thing but they will stop many people from stealing from you. Something is better than nothing at all.

No Right-Click Script: This script stops the person on your website from being able to right-click. This will stop them from viewing your source code, saving photos, and linking directly to your photos to use your bandwidth.

Disable Image Toolbar Script: This script disables the image toolbar in IE6+. The image toolbar is the things that popup when you point at a picture that let you save, resize, and other things. This helps protect your images from other people copying them.

Disable Select Text Script: This script disables the ability for most people to select text on your site. This will keep them from copying your hard work and using it on their site.

That’s about it. The scripts above won’t stop everyone from stealing your work. They’ll sure stop many of them.
