This guide shows you how to save an edited video in Windows Movie Maker for Windows Vista to your computer.
- Click This computer under Publish in the left sidebar of Windows Movie Maker.
- Give the video a name and location to save it and then click Next. The default location is in your videos folder.
- Select the format to save the video in and then click Publish.
- Windows Movie Maker will re-compile the video frame-by-frame (this could take some time depending on the size of the video). When it’s finished it will ask you if you want to view the published video.

i have downloaded a video from youtube and have converted it so i can use in movie maker. I have trimmed about 20 seconds off the end but when i have finished publishing the movie and view it, after about 10 seconds it cuts out and just goes black.
How can this be fixed?
Please help.
Thanks
