Publish a Video in Windows Movie Maker

This guide shows you how to save an edited video in Windows Movie Maker for Windows Vista to your computer.

  1. Click This computer under Publish in the left sidebar of Windows Movie Maker.
  2. Give the video a name and location to save it and then click Next. The default location is in your videos folder.

  3. Select the format to save the video in and then click Publish.

  4. Windows Movie Maker will re-compile the video frame-by-frame (this could take some time depending on the size of the video). When it’s finished it will ask you if you want to view the published video.

i have downloaded a video from youtube and have converted it so i can use in movie maker. I have trimmed about 20 seconds off the end but when i have finished publishing the movie and view it, after about 10 seconds it cuts out and just goes black.
    How can this be fixed?
    Please help.
