Quickly Turn the Aero Glass Affect On or Off

Some people need a fast way to turn off the Aero glass affect because a game might perform better with it off, they want to take a screen shot, or other various reasons.
This guide shows you how to create a shortcut that turns Aero on or off when clicked in Windows Vista.
Create Shortcut to Turn Aero Glass Off
- Right-click an empty space of your desktop, point at New, and then click Shortcut.
- Type rundll32.exe dwmApi #104 in the location box of the Create Shortcut window.
[1] - Click Next.
- Give your new shortcut a name.
[2] - Click Finished.
Create Shortcut to Turn Aero Glass On
Follow the steps above but type rundll32.exe dwmApi #102 in the location box of the Create Shortcut window.
