		<description>Got an idea how to do this from DOS or the recovery console? The disk check is preventing me from going into windows.

(it&#039;s insisting to check a disk with a thousand bad sectors, it will will never work - didn&#039;t finish after 60 hours, so not wanting to wait and try that again, can&#039;t remove the drive either because then the drive letters change and the registry entries in the OS will point to the wrong letter)</description>

		<description>Thanks very much, the scheduled disk check was coming up every time I switched the PC on and I couldn´t cancel it despite hitting every key on the keyboard within the 10 sec.
