The disk check is preventing me from going into windows. (it's insisting to check a disk with a thousand bad sectors, it will will never work - didn't finish after 60 hours, so not wanting to wait and try that again, can't remove the drive either because then the drive letters change and the registry entries in the OS will point to the wrong letter) Got an idea how to do this from DOS or the recovery console?
