To Start or Not To Start Speech Recognition When Windows Starts

  1. Open the Control Panel in Classic view by clicking classic view in the left column of the Control Panel.
  2. Open Speech Recognition Options.
  3. Click Advanced Speech Options in the left sidebar.
  4. Check off Run Speech Recognition at startup if you want it to start up with Windows or uncheck it if you do not want speech recognition to start up when Windows starts.
