Windows Vista Time Limits

Introduction

Lets say you don’t want little Johnny on the computer when you are at work and late at night. You can set up when you want little Johnny to be able to use the computer with Time Limits on Windows Vista.

Set Time Limits

Note: Before you can turn on Time Limits for a user account that account needs to have Parental Controls turned on. Learn how to turn on Parental Controls with the Turn Parental Controls on in Windows Vista [1] guide.

  1. Open the Start Menu and click Control Panel.
  2. Open Parental Controls.
  3. Select the user you want to turn Time Limits on.
  4. Click Time Limits.

  5. Highlight each box blue for each hour of every day you don’t want little Johnny on the computer.
